212. Ex.d This Indenture made the 21.st day of November in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and sixty Three by and Between John Gardiner of Saint Marys County Ignatius Wheeler of the same County and John Ross Esquire of the City of Annapolis of the one part and Philip Key of the same County of the other part Witnesseth that the said John Gardiner for and in Consideration of the sum of Twenty pounds Current Money to him in hand paid by the said Philip Key the Receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof acquitteth and dischargeth the said Philip Key his Heirs Executors and Administrators by these Presents Hath given granted bargained and sold aliened enfeoffed conveyed and confirmed and by these Presents Doth give grant bargain and sell alien enfeoff ^convey^ and Confirm unto the said Philip Key his heirs and Assigns for ever All that Part or Parcel of a tract of land formerly called Rich Neck but now called Maidens Bower lying and being in Saint Marys County afd between Mattapany and Bushwood Beginning at a Locust Post erected for the Boundary of the said Parcel of Land standing in Peter Mills deceased his Pasture and running from thence North Twenty four degrees Easterly Eighty two Perches to another locust Post errected for another Boundary of the Said Parcel of Land standing near a main Road that formerly led to Bus^h^wood Church and running from thence North Sixty Two degrees Easterly Sixty Eight Perches to a Bounded Oak and running from thence South Twenty degrees East Fifty six perches untill it intersects the dividing Line between a certain Elizabeth Cole and a certain Peter and Francis Mills deceased and running from thence North Sixty Nine degree East Eight Perches untill it intersects the North Nine Degree Easterly Line of the whole Tract called Rich Neck then South Nine degrees Westerly one hundred and Eighteen Perches to a Bounded White Oak standing on the swamp side near the Edge of and Old Feild and thence with a streight Line to the beginning containing and laid out for one hundred Acres of Land be the same more or Less Together with all houses Trees Orchards Fences and all other the Improvements and Appurtenances thereunto belonging and the Reversions and Remainders Rents and Services of the same Parcel of Land and Premises and every part thereof To |
