       his Wife before me one of his Lordships Provincial Justices and Acknowledged
       the Property Claim Title Interest and Demand of in and to the said Two hundred and
       Eight Acres of Land with the appurtenances to be in the within named Henry Child
       his heirs and Assigns for ever   And the said Eleanor being by me Privately
       Examined out of the hearing of her Said husband did declare that she made the
       above Acknowledgment Willingly and freely and without being induced thereto
       by fears or threats of or Ill usage by her Husband or fear of his Displeasure
       before me                                          J Hepburn

Ex.d         Whereas the Honble Daniel Dulany Esq.r late deceased in and by his
       last Will among other things devised to me the subscriber certain land in Frederick County
       unless my Brother Daniel Dulany should pay unto me Five hundred Pounds sterling
       when I should attain my full age & allow after his decease the sum of Twenty Five
       Pounds P Annum towards the defraying the Expences of my Education Now
       this present Indenture Witnesseth and thereby I do Acknowledge that I did
       at sundry Times whilst I was in England for my Education receive by and from
       my said Brother Daniel Dulany Several Sums of Money amounting in the whole
       unto the Sum of Two hundred and forty five Pounds fourteen shillings & seven
       Pence Sterling to the seventeenth day of April seventeen hundred & sixty two
       and also the further Sum of sixteen Pounds & sixteen shillings Sterling in Value
       by Rent of the House in which I reside to the Month of November last Past and
       on the day of the Date of these Presents that I have received the sum of Eighty
       seven Pounds Nine shillings and Five pence sterling in Bills of Exchange
       and that the said Daniel Dulany hath Passed his Bond or Obligation to me in
       the Penal sum of Eight hundred Pounds sterling of the date of these presents
       Conditioned for the Payment of the sum of Four hundred Pounds sterling
       together with legal Interest for the same from the sixth day of December last past
       to be reckoned and Compelled Wherefore for and in Consideration of the
       Premises    I Do hereby release unto the said Daniel Dulany all Right
                                                                                              Title
