89) Ex.d This Indenture made the twentyeth Day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and fifty Seven Between Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis in Ann Arundle County Esq.r of the One part and Alexander Lawson of Baltimore County Gent of the other part Whereas Charles Carroll Esq.r late of the City of Annapolis and County of Ann Arundle aforesaid Deceased by his Last Will and Testament in writ^e^ing bearing date the first Day of December 1718 among other things there in contained bequeathed all his Lands in Baltimore County to his Sons Charles & Daniel as also all his Mortgages as by the Said Will duly Proved and recorded may appear And the Said Daniel Carroll by his Last Will and Testament in Writing bearing date the 12.th day of April 1734 did Will and Authorise Charles Carroll party to this Deed to sell all his Lands which Should not in any one tract exceed five hundred Acres As by the Said Will duly Proved and recorded may appear Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the Said Charles Carroll for and in consideration of the Sum of fifteen pounds sterling to him in hand paid by the Said Alexander Lawson paid the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Alien^e^d Enfeoffed and Confirmed unto him the Said Alexander Lawson his Heirs and assigns all that part of a tract of Land Called Coles Harbour lying and being in Baltimore County aforesaid which is contained within the following Metes and bounds Courses and distances Viz Begining at the end of the North Eighty Six perches line of Original Baltimore Town at the North Corner of the Lot Number two in Said Town and Runing thence North forty Nine degrees East twenty two perches (North) |
