82) On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus indorst Viz.t 1757 March the seventeenth Then Received of Charles Carroll Junior the Sum of five Shillings Sterling being the Consideration Money within Mentioned Witness Daniel Carroll Cha Carroll William Baker 1757 March the Twenty first Then Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland Charles Carroll Esq.r party to the within Deed and Acknowledged the Same According to the Act of Assembly in Such Cases made & Provided Geo Steuart Received of M.r Charles Carroll Jun.r Two Pounds thirteen Shillings and Eight pence half penny sterling for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine on the within mentioned Lands) by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his Lordships Agent and Receiver General 18 sides Rich.d Dorsey Recorded May 17.th 1757 Ex.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made this Twenty fifth Day of October Seventeen Hundred and Fifty Six Between George Scott of Frederick County Taylor of the one part and Brice Thomas Beale Worthington (of) |
