79) Maryland Charles Carroll Junior Party to the within Deed and Acknowledged the same According to the Act of Assembly in Such Case made and Provided Geo Steuart Received of Charles Carroll Esq.r Ten pounds fifteen Shillings and two pence half penny sterling for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine on the within mentioned Lands by virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his Lordships Agent and Receiver General Rich.d Dorsey 9 sides Recorded May 16.th 1757 Ex.d This Indenture made the Twentieth Day of March Anno Domini One thousand seven Hundred and fifty seven Between Charles Carroll Esq.r of the City of Annapolis on the one part and Charles Carroll Junior Son and heir at Law of Daniel Carroll Esq.r late of Prince Georges County Deceased on the Other Part Witnesseth that Whereas the said Daniel Carroll by his Last Will and Testament Bearing date the Twelfth day of April One thousand seven hundred and thirty four did Impower Charles Carroll party to these Presents to Sell and all his Lands which in any One Tract did not amount to Above Five hundred Acres and to apply the Produce to his three Children Charles Carroll Elianor Carroll and Mary Carroll and whereas Daniel Carroll the Testator among other Lands Died Possessed of the following Parts of Tracts of Lands which did not amount to above five hundred Acres Viz.t the half part of Ely O Carroll Containing Five (hundred) |
