71) And appurtenances unto my Said Grand Father John Worthington and his heirs and Assigns for ever so that neither I the Said John Worthington son of William nor my heirs nor any other Person or Persons for me or them shall or will by any means or ways hereafter have Claim Challenge or demand any Estate Right Title or Interest of in or to the afs.d Premisses or any part or Parcel thereof In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this Eighteenth day of April Anno Dom 1757 signed sealed and Delivered in Presence of John Worthington seal Tho.s Worthington Benj Beall Mem.d that on the 18.th day of ^April^ Anno Dom 1757 before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland Personally appeared the above named John Worthington son of William and Acknowledged the above release to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses above mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the above named John Worthington his Grand Father his heirs and assigns for ever According to the true intent and meaning of the Same release and the Act of Assembly in such Case made & provided Geo Steuart May the 4.th 1757 Reced of M.r John Worthington Four pounds Sterling for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine on the within mentioned Two thousand Acres of Land) by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd ^Esq.r^ his Lordships Agent and Receiver General Rich.d Dorsey 18.th April 1757 Then received of my Grand Father John Worthington 6 sides above mentioned the Sum of fifty pounds sterling being the Consideration above mentioned Witnesses John Worthington Benj Beall Tho.s Worthington Recorded May the 4.th 1757 |
