68) without fraud or further delay then the above Instrument to be Void otherwise to be of full force and Virtue in law In Witness whereof the Said William Worthington Junior hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day & year above Signed Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of W Worthington Jun.r seal Mich.l Webster Walter Tolley 7 sides Ex.d On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Indorst Viz.t ^On the Back of a Mortgage from W.m Worthington Jun.r to John Worthington and recorded in Lib.r T B N.o 1 fol.o 43, 44, 45, 46 & 47 one of the Land Records of Baltimore County was thus Written Viz.t^ Know all men by these Presents that I John Worthington son of William Worthington of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland planter Eldest son and Heir at law of William Worthington Junior of Baltimore County Gentleman deceased for and in Consideration of the sum of fifty pounds sterling to me in hand paid by my Grand father John Worthington ^one^ of the Parties to the within Indenture of Mortgage the Receipt whereof I do hereby Acknowledge have Remised released and for ever quit Claimed and by these Presents for my Self and my Heirs do fully Clearly and absolutely remise release and for ever quit Claim unto the Said John Worthington in his Actual Possession now being all the within Mentioned thirty Nine Negroes and Malatto Slaves with there increase also the with mentioned Eighty three head of Cattle and twelve horses and mares with their Increase together with my (Right) |
