66) This Indenture made the seventh Day of November in the Year of our Lord God seventeen hundred and forty and Four Between William Worthington Junior of Baltimore County Gentleman of the One part and John Worthington his father of Ann Arundle County of the Other part Witnesseth that the said William Worthington for and in Consideration of the sum of five hundred and fifty four Pounds sterling money of Great Britain to him in hand paid by the Said John Worthing Worthington the receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof and of Every part or Parcel thereof doth acquit and Discharge the Said John Worthington his Executors and Adm.rs he the said William Worthington hath given Granted Bargained and Sold and Confirmed and by these Presents for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators doth Give Grant Bargain Sell alein and Confirm unto him the said John Worthington his heirs and assigns for Ever the Negros and Stock hereafter mentioned (to wit) Sixteen Negroe men named Jack Sancay Ceasor Hector Robin London Peter Dick Peter Cook Bristoll Pompe Boon Adam Brown and Lewis Ten negroe Women named Rachael Fanny Jamma Sue Schosfeild Mary Ruth Josanah Mocea Cloe thirteen Negroe Children Named Mel Rachael Sue Nann James Toby Jack Will Tom Sam Dick Bristoll and Adam in all thirty nine Negroes and Molatto Slaves Eighty three head of Cattle (to wit) Twenty Eight Cows fourteen Young Steers Eighteen Young Heifers six old steers thirteen (yearlings) |
