370) March the 15.th 1759 Reced of M.r Henry Bennett Darnall Two Pounds Sterling for his Lordships Use (it being the Alienation fine on the within Mentioned Land) by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his Lordships Agent and Receiver General Rich.d Dorsey Recorded the 15.th day of March 7 d 1759 Ex.d This Indenture made the Twenty Eight day of February Anno Domini One thousand Seven hundred and Fifty Nine Between Henry Darnall of Ann Arundell County Merchant of the one Part and Nicholas Lowe Darnall of Baltimore County Gentleman of the other part Witnesseth that the said Henry Darnall in Consideration and for the Natural Love and Affection which he hath and beareth unto the said Nicholas Lowe Darnall and for Divers other good Causes and Considerations him the said Henry Darnall thereunto Moving Hath Given Granted Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed And by these Presents doth fully and Absolutely Give Grant Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Nicholas Lowe Darnall and his Heirs forever all that One thousand Acres of Land being one Moyety of his Tract or parcel of Land called the Land of Promise Laying in Baltimore County and upon the head of Gunpowder River and upon the North side of the South Branch of the Said River and ^is^ on Butted and Bounded as followeth Viz.t Beginning at a stone now fix't at the Division line between him and his Brother Henry Bennett Darnall in the third line of the Original survey of the said Land and running thence North Fifty One and a half Degrees West Two hundred and Fifty Nine Perches to a Red Oak Mentioned in the Original Grant thence South West Six hundred and Eighty two (Perches) |
