364) Be it Remembered that on the Ninth day of March Anno Dom 1759 before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Provincial Court of the Province of Maryland Personally appeared the above named Charles Homewood and Acknowledged the above Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein Mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within and above named John Brice his Heirs and Assigns for Ever according to the true intent and meaning of the above Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and Provided 7 1/2 Acknowledged before Geo Steuart Recorded 13.th day of March 1759 Ex.d Know all Men by these Presents that We Robinson Wakefield of Sunderland near the Sea in the County of Durham Coalfitter and Ann the Wife of the said Robinson Wakefield Assignees of William Backhouse and Jonathan Hedley the Executors named in the last Will and Testament of Edward Fell formerly of Patapsco in Maryland but late of Over Kellett in the County Palatine of Lancaster in Great Britain Merchant Deceased and which said Ann was formerly Ann Fell and is Daughter and Only Child and Devisee of the said Edward Fell deceased for divers good Causes and Considerations us thereunto moving Have made Ordained Constituted and Appointed and by these Presents Do make ordain Constitute and appoint William Cox Joseph Coleman and Philip Thomas Junior all on the Western shore of Maryland Merchants and each of them jointly and Severally our joint and Several Attorneys and Attorney for us and in our Names or in the Name of either of us and to our use to ask demand sue for recover and receive of and from Richard Snowden of Gunpowder River Maryland Merchant (Executor) |
