361) Signed Sealed and Delivered in Presence of us W.m Chalmers Char Carroll seal Fra.s Fairbrother Received the day of the Date of the within written Indenture of the within Mentioned John Little the sum of Five Shillings Ster being the full Consideration Money Mentioned I say Received Test W.m Chalmers p Char Carroll Fra.s Fairbrother Then Came before me Jn.o Brice one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court Feb.y 28 1759 the within Mentioned Charles Carroll and Acknowledged the within Deed and the Lands and Premisses therein Mentioned to be the Right and Estate of John Little of Baltimore County planter his Heirs and Assigns forever according to the Act in that Case made and Provided Jn.o Brice March the 2.d 1759 Received of M.r John Little four Shillings and an half penny Sterling for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine on the within Mentioned Lands) by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his Lordships Agent and Receiver General 4 d Rich.d Dorsey Recorded the 2.d day of March 1759 L S Ex.d Whereas the within named John Brice on the twenty eighth day Duty paid of July one thousand seven hundred and fifty Six hath on Credit of John Brice Clk the within Mortgage advanced and paid the Sum of four hundred and Nine pounds Eight Shillings and Eight pence Current Money to Lancelot Jacques of the City of Annapolis Merchant on my Account and for the proper Debts of me the within named Charles Homewood which said four (hundred) |
