       Reveived the day of the Date of the within Written Indenture of
       the within Mentioned Charles Carroll the Sum of Five Shillings Sterl
       being the full Consideration Money Mentioned I say Received

       Then Came before me Jn.o Brice one of his Lordships Justices of the
       Provincial Court February 28 1759 the within Mentioned John Little
       and Acknowledged the within Deed and the Lands and Premisses therein
       mentioned to be the Right and Estate of Charles Carroll of the City of
       Annapolis Barrister his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the Act
       in that Case made and Provided

       March the 2.d 1759  Received of M.r Charles Carroll four shillings
       Sterlings for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine on the within
       Mentioned Land) By Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r
       his Lordships Agent and Receiver General
