357) Be it remembered that on the thirtieth Day of January 1759 Came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary's Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland the within named William Dallam and did Acknowledge the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed ^for^ the Purposes within mentioned and that the Lands & Premisses with the appurtenances within mentioned are the right & Estate of the within named Beale Bordley according to the true intent and meaning of the said Writing and also on the same Day and year aforesaid Came before me the said Subscriber Ann the wife of the said William Dallam who being by me examined apart from and out of the hearing of her said husband did declare that she had freely released and by this acknowledgment did intent to release all her right & Title of Dower to the within Premisses and that she made this Acknowledgment & release of her own free will & Consent without any Compulsion or threats from her said husband or for fear of his Displeasure Thus Acknowledged before John Hall Received Febry 1 1759 thirteen shillings & seven pence half penny sterling Al^i^enation fine of Three hundred & fourty Acres the within Land for his Lordships use by order Edw.d Lloyd Esq.r agent John W Caull Jun 10 d Recorded the 10.th day of February 1759 Ex.d This Indenture made this 27th day of February in the Year of our Lord God One thousand Seven hundred Fifty and Nine ^by and^ Between John Little of Baltimore County Planter Son and Heir of William Little late of the County aforesaid Planter on the one part and Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis Barrister on (the) |
