351) January the 28.th 1759 Reced of M.r Edward Dorsey the Sums of twenty one pounds fourteen Shillings Sterling & Twenty Seven pounds four Shillings & four pence Current Money being the Consideration Money within mentioned Witness Char Peirepoint Basil Dorsey Jun.r John Hall Jun.r Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within Named Charles Peirpoint and Acknowledged the within Deed to be his Act and Deed & the Land & Premisses within mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within mentioned Edward Dorsey & his heirs According to the true intent & meaning of the within Deed & the Act of Assembly in that Case made and Provided 7 s.d Acknowledged before me this 29.th of January 1759 Recorded Jan.ry the 30.th 1759 Geor Steuart Ex.d This Indenture Tripartite made the first Day of August in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty eight Between Zachariah Hood of Ann Arundel County Gentleman of the first & James Maccubbin of Ann Arundel County Merchant of the Second Part and Thomas Baldwin of Ann Arundel County Gentleman of the third part Witnesseth that it is Covenanted Concluded and agreed between the Parties to these Presents that it Shall and may be Lawfull for the said Zachariah Hood before the first Day of the next Provincial Court to prosecute out of the High Court of Chancery one or more writ or Writs of Entry Sur Disseizen en le post against the said James Maccubbin returnable to the next Provincial Provincial Court whereby the said Zachariah Hood shall & may demand against the said James Maccubbin all that Tract or Parcel of Plantable Land with the Appurtenances called Baldwin's Neck lying and being (in) |
