       Acknowledged at that time were and still are two of his Lordships the
       Right Honble the Lord Proprietarys Justices of the Peace for the County af.d Lawfull
       Authorized & assigned & to Whom due faith & Credit is & ought to be
       Given in Justice Court and thereout

Ex.d      This Indenture made the twenty fourth Day of November in
       the year of our Lord one thousand seven hund^red^ and fifty eight Between
       John Ross of City of Annapolis Esquire of the one Part and Jacob Gans
       of Frederick County Planter of the Other Part Whereas the said Jacob
       Gans by Deed or Mortgage bearing Date the twenty eighth day of
       May Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and fifty three for and
       in Consideration of the sum of twenty five pounds Current Money did
       give grant Bargain sell alien enfeoff & Confirm and make over unto
       him the said John Ross his Heirs and assigns for ever all that Tract or
       Parcel of Land Called the Resurvey on Egypt Containing one hundred
       and sixty one Acres of Land according to the Certificate of Survey
       Returned into his Lordships Land Office together with all Houses and
       Improvements thereon or thereto belonging with a Condition or proviso
       in the said Deed to be Void upon Payment of the said sum of twenty five
       pounds Current Money with legal Interest for the same at a Certain
       Day and time in the said Deed mentioned (Relation being thereunto
       had more fully and at large may appear now this Indenture Witnesseth
