Ex.d This Indenture made the Eighth day of November
       Anno Domini One thousand Seven Hundred fifty and Eight Between
       Richard Poole of Baltimore County In the Province of Maryland planter
       of the One part and Sarah Hood of Ann Arundell County of the Province
       aforesaid of the Other Part Witnesseth that the said Richard Poole for
       and in Consideration of the Sum of One Pounds Sterling and the Quantity
       of Five hundred Weight of Inspected Tobacco to him in hand paid by the
       said Sarah Hood at and before the Insealing and Delivering of these presents
       the Receipt whereof he the Said Richard Poole doth Acknowledge and him
       self therewith fully Satisfied Contented and Paid and thereof and therefrom
       and from every part and Parcel thereof doth fully Clearly and Absolutely
       acquit Exonerate and discharge the said Sarah Hood her Heirs Executors
       Administrators by these Presents for Ever hath given granted Bargained
       Sold Aliend Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents doth fully
       Clearly and Absolutely give grant bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe and
       Confirm unto the Said Sarah Hood her Heirs and Assigns for ever all
       that Tract of Land called Richard third Chance bounded as follows
       Beginning at three Bounded white Oaks Standing in the fork of a
       Branch called the Bearstone Run which desends into the Western Falls
       of Patapsco River and Running thence North sixty five Degrees East
       twenty Perches thence North thirty one degrees East Ninety seven perches
       thence North West twenty Perches thence South fifty one Degrees West
       Sixty four Perches and then with a Straight to the Beginning Containing
       and laid out for Twenty Acres more or less to be held of the Manor of
       Baltimore County by the name of Richards third Chance together with
       all Rights Members Appurtenances Edifices Buildings Gardings Orchards
       Woods Underwood Timber and Timber Trees Ways Easements Profits Comoditys
       Hereditaments and Appurtenances whatsoever to the said Land and Premisses
       or any Part or parcel thereof belonging or in any wise Pertaining To
       Have and to Hold the Said Twenty Acres of Land and Premisses with
       all and Singular their Appurtenances unto her the Said Sarah Hood
       her Heirs and Assigns for ever and to none other use Intent or purpose
       Whatsoever and the said Richard Poole for himself and his Heirs Executors
       Administrators doth hereby Covenant and Agree to and with the said
       Sarah Hood her Heirs and Assigns that he the said Richard Poole at
       the Time of the Ensealing and Delivering delivery ^hereof^ is free and Clear
       of and from all and every former Grants Bargains Sails Mortgages
