       Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the
       Provincial Court the within named William Matthews George Simmonds
       and Charles Wallace and did severally acknowledge the within Deed or
       Instrument of Writing to be their Several Act and Deed to and for
       the Uses within Mentioned respectively, Then came also before me the
       within named Ann the Wife of the Said William Matthews and
       being by me privately examined out of the Hearing of her said Husband
       did acknowledge the within Instrument of Writing to be her Act and Deed
       according to the True Intent and Meaning thereof and she did then
       also declare that she executed the Same and thereby released and
       Conveyed her Right to and Estate in the within granted and released
       Premisses and Appurtenances to the Uses and Purposes within
       Mentioned and also that she did make this acknowledgment
       willingly freely and of her own Accord without being induced
       thereto by Fears or Threats of or ill Usage by her said Husband or
       fear of his Displeasure                  Taken and acknowledge the 6.th Day
       of June 1758

       The 6.th June 1758 Then Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships
       Justices of the Provincial Court Robert Alexander and Samuel
       Wilson and respectively made Oath on the Holy Evangelists of
       Almighty God that they saw William Matthews and Ann his
       Wife and George Simmonds and Charles Wallace Parties to the
       within Deed respectively Sign Seal and Deliver the same as their
       respective Act and Deed for the Uses therein Mentioned and that they
       Saw William Matthews Sign his Name to the Receipt Endorsed on the
       within Deed for the Sum of One hundred and forty five pounds ten
       Shillings Sterling being the Consideration Money therein Mentioned
       and that they respectively subscribed their Names as Witnesses thereto
