29) Lloyd the two Subscribing Witnesses to the Execution thereof did immediately appear before me and make oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty that they saw the within bound Jacob Hindman James Dickinson and Samuel Bowman Sign Seal and Execute the Same Bond to the use Intent and Purpose the Same Contained 3 1/2 sd Recorded ^Oct.r^ 19.th 1756 W.m Goldsborough Maryland fs.t Know all men by these Presents that we Charles Dickinson and W.m Murray of Dorchester County in the Province afs.d Gent are held and firmly Bound unto the Right Hon.ble the Lord Propry his Heirs and Successors in the full and just Sum of Two Hundred Pounds Current Money of the Province afs.d to be paid to the said Lord Propry his Heirs and Successors which Payment well & Truly to be made and done We do Hereby bind ourselves our Heirs Executors and Administrators & Every of them Jointly & Severally for the whole and in the whole firmly by these Presents Seald with our Seals and Dated this 12.th Day of October 1756 The Condition of the above Obligation is Such that if the above Bounden Charles Dickinson whilst he Shall Continue in the officer of Receiver or Collector of the Land Tax in Dorchester County Shall well and faithfully Execute and Perform the Several duties Require of him to be Performed by the Act of Assembly of this Province Entituled an act for Granting a supply of Forty thousand Pounds for his Majestys Service and striking thirty four thousand and fifteen Pounds Six Shillings thereof in Bills of Credit and Raising a Fund for Sinking the Same and do well and faithfully Pay to the Commissioners of the Loan Office for the time being the Several Sums of Money which he shall (Receive) |
