       Duty paid   Know all Men by these Presents that We Jacob Hindman
        the Place   James Dickinson and Samuel Bowman of Talbot County
          of the       and Province of Maryland Gentlemen are held and firmly
              seal      bound unto Frederick Absolute Lord and Proprietor of the
       John Leeds Clk  
                         Provinces of Maryland Avalon Lord Baron of
       Baltimore &.c in the full and just sum of two hundred Pounds Currant
       Money of Maryland to be paid unto the Same Frederick Lord Baltimore
       his Heirs and Successors to the which payment well and truly to be
       made and done we bind ourselves and every of us our and every of our
       heirs Executors and Administrators, joyntly and Severally in the whole
       and for the whole firmly by these Presents Sealed with our Seals and
       dated this twelfth day of October in the year of our Lord Seventeen
       hundred and fifty Six

       The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above
       bound Jacob Hindman whilst he shall Continue in the office of
       receiver or Collector of the Land Tax in Talbot County shall well and
       faithfully execute & perform the severall Dutys Required of him
       to be performed by the Act of Assembly of this Province Entituled
       An Act for Granting a Supply of forty thousand and fifteen pounds
       six Shillings thereof in Bills of Credit and raising a fund for
       Sinking the same & Do well and faithfully to the Commissioners
       of the Loan office for the time being the Several Sums of Money which
       he shall receive and be answerable for in Virtue of the Same act
       at such Times as by the Said Act is directed according to the
       true Intent and Meaning thereof then the above obligation to be
       void otherwise of force

       On the back Side of the aforegoing Bond was thus indorsed Viz.t
      
       I the Subscriber one of the Right Honourable the Lord Propry that now is
       his Justices of the Provincial Court of the Province of Maryland do hereby
       certify that on the twelfth Day of October in the year of our
       Lord God Seventeen hundred and fifty Six the within Bond
       was executed before me and that William Thomas and James
