                On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus written to wit

       Ann Arundel County fs.t
                                           On the 13.th day of July 1758 Came the
       within named John Hamilton before us the Subscribers and
       acknowledged the within Instrument to be his Act and Deed and
       the Land and Premisses therein Mentioned to be the Right and
       Estate of the within Named Valentine Brown Jun.r his
       heirs and Assigns for ever and at the same time came also
       Rebeckeh the Wife of the Said John and being by us privately
       Examined out of the Hearing of her said Husband acknowledged
       her Right of Dower and that she did the same of her free and
       voluntary Consent without being thereto Compeled by any
       threats from her said Husband or fear of his Displeasure

       from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his Lordships Agent and Receiver
       General                                                         Rich.d Dorsey
