       On the Back of the aforegoing Indenture was thus indorsed Viz.t

       Receivd of the within named Brian Philpot the within mentiond                     sterl
       Sum of five Shillings Sterling Money the Day and year first within Written   £ 0  5
       Witness
       Brian Philpot Jun.r                                             P John Lamar Jun.r

       Then Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the
       Provincial Court the within named John Lamar jun.r and Did
       acknowledge the within Instrument to be his Act and Deed for the
       uses within mentioned and that the within granted Lands and
       Premisses were the Right and Estate of the within named Brian
       Philpot Subject to the proviso or Condition within written
       according to the true Intent and meaning of the Same deed and
       the Act of Assembly in Such Case made and provided
       Acknowledged before me this first Day of October 1756

Ex.d   This Indenture made the twenty Seventh Day of September
       one thousand Seven hundred and fifty Six Between Frances
       Foy of Baltimore County of the one Part & Sarah Housamer of
       Frederick County of the other Part Witnesseth that the Said Frances Foy
       for and in Consideration of the natural Love & affection She Cares to her
       as well as the Sum of five Shillings to her in hand Paid by the said
       Sarah Housamer her Loveing Grand Daughter ^the^ receipt whereof she
       Doth hereby Acknowledge and hereof doth acquit & Discharge the Said
       Sarah Housamer his Heirs & Assigns for ever all that tract or
       Parcell of Land Lying & being in Baltimore County near
       Susquahannah Called Isup Containing one hundred & fifteen Acres
       of Land also a Tract of Land Lying in Frederick County Called
       Hunting bottom Containing Eighty Acres of Land & also all
       her Estate both Personal & reall of what nature Soever to have
       and to Hold the Said Tracts of Lands with all others where soever
