       Lamar jun.r and his Heirs of into and out of the Premises and
       Appurtenances and every Part and Parcell thereof To have and to hold
       the said Land and Premises hereby bargained and Sold or meant
       Mentioned or intended So to be with the Appurtenances thereunto
       belonging unto him the Said Brian Philpot his Heirs and Assigns
       for ever To the intent and Purpose that the afs.d Sum of Seven Hundred
       and Sixty nine Pounds one Shilling & Six Pence Sterling and Interest
       thereon from the Date of these Presents Shall and may by Virtue of
       these Presents and the Premisses hereby bargained and Sold or meant mentioned
       or intended so to be with the Appurtenances to be Secured to be paid unto
       the Said Brian Philpot and the Executors of the Afs.d W.m Torver deceased
       in Such Proportion as the Same is or shall be come due and Payable so
       far as the Premises hereby bargaind and Sold or intended so to be shall extend
       unto and to and for no other use Intent or Purpose whatsoever Provided
       always and these Presents are upon this Condition that if the said John Lamar
       jun.r his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns do and Shall well and
       Truly Pay or Cause to be paid unto the Said Brian Philpot his Executors
       Administrators or Assigns the Sum of Seven hundred and Sixty nine
       Pounds one Shilling and Six Pence Sterling Money with the Lawfull
       Interest for the Same at or before the first Day of October in the year
       of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & fifty seven without Fraud
       or further Delay then and in Such Case this Indenture and every Clause
       Articell and thing herein before mentioned or Containd to the Contrary thereof
       in any wise notwithstanding And the Said John Lamar jun.r for himself
       his Heirs Executors or Administrators doth hereby Covenant Promise
       and agree to and with the said Brian Philpot his ^Heirs^ Executors Administrators
       and Assigns that he said John Lamar jun.r his Heirs Executors
       Administrators & Assigns shall and will well and truly pay or Cause to be
       Paid unto the Said Brian Philpot his Executors Administrators or Assigns
       the Said Sum of Seven hundred & sixty nine Pounds one Shilling & Six pence
       on or before the afs.d first Day of October one thousand Seven hundred and fifty Seven
       according to the Tenor and true Intent & meaning of the Proviso or Condition
       herein before Containd for Payment thereof In Witness whereof the said
       John Lamar jun.r has hereunto set his hand and affixed his Seal
       the Day and year first above Written
