255 or Cause to be Signed sealed Delivered & Executed any other Deed or Instrument in Writing or Do any other Lawfull Act as the said Peter Naffsger his Heirs or assigns His or their Council Learned in the Law shall Reasonably Devise or Advise for the further & Better assurance Surety or Sure making the Land & Premisses hereby Bargained & sold unto him the said Peter Naffsger his Heirs & assigns for Ever In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have Interchangeably set their hands & seals the Day & year first above Written Signed Sealed & Delivered In presence of [illegible] seal Mary Darnall On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus John Darnall Written to wit June 3.d 1758 Came Stephen Woolbr^e^y before me the Subscriber one of his Lordship's Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland and Acknowledged the Land & premss within mentioned to be the right & estate of the within named Peter Naffsger his heirs & assigns for ever and at the same time came Elizabeth Woolbrey wife to the said Stephen Woolbrey who being privately Examined out of the hearing of her said husband freely & voluntarily released all her right of Dower to the land & prmss within mentioned to the said Peter Naffsger his heirs and assigns for ever without being induced thereto from any fear or threats of her said Husband John Darnall June the 3.d 1758 Then Received of Peter Naffsger the Consideration money within mentioned Being three Hundred & fifty Pounds Pensylvania Curr for the within mentioned Land I say Recd P Testis John Darnall [illegible] |
