200) Maryland January 14.th 1758 Then received of James Marshall the sum of Four hundred and twenty pounds Current ^Money^ of Maryland being the Consideration money within mentioned Witness received by me J Hepburn Andrew Abington John Gibson Maryland Jan.y 14.th 1758 Then came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices for the Provincial Court the within named Andrew Abington and Acknowledged the within Deed Pursuant to the Directions of the Act of Assembly in such Cases late made & Provided Taken before J Hepburn Jany the 18.th 1758 Received of M.r James Marshall One Pound Eight Shillings Sterling for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine on the within Mentioned Seven hundred Acres of Land) by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his Lordships Agent and Receiver General Rich.d Dorsey 8 1/2 sides Recorded 19.th Jan.y 1758 Ex.d This Indenture made this 27th day of february Anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred & fifty eight Between Henry Pierpoint of Annarundel County in the province of maryland Black Smith of the one part and William Hall of Elkridge in the County & province afs.d merchant of the other part Witnesseth That the said Henry Pierpoint for and in Consideration of the sum of sixty pounds Current Money of Maryland to him in hand paid or secured to be paid at and before the ensealing and Delivery of these presents by the said William Hall the receipts whereof He the said Henry Pierpoint doth hereby acknowledge |
