       in Said County deceased who in his Lifetime by a Certain
       Mortgage made to Richard Bennet Esq.r of Said Province of & ^to^ a
       Certain Lot or Lots of Land Lying in Said City of Annapolis
       Called and Known by the name of ^Nicholson's^ Richardsons Lot as also
       of another Portion or Lot of Land adjoining to the former
       Granted to Said Gordon by vitue of An Act of Assembly bearing
       Date the Twenty Sixth Day of October 1723 called the Sand
       Bank both included in the Said Mortgage Now forasmuch
       as a General release being made by Edward Lloyd Esquire
       Administrators to the Said Richard Bennet Esq.r deceased of &
       to the Lot or Lots of Land and Premises aforesaid unto her the
       Said Agnes Gordon her heirs and Assigns for ever as by the
       Said Instrument of Release may more at Large appear
       This Present Indenture further Witnesseth that the afs.d
       Agnes Gordon ^for^ and in consideration of the sum of one hundred
       and forty pounds Sterling in hand paid by the Said John
       Anderson unto the Said Agnes Gordon before the Ensealing
       and Delivery hereof of the receipts whereof she doth ^he^reby Acquit
       and Discharge the Said John Anderson his heirs Executors Adm.rs
       and Assigns hath Granted Bargained Released Confirmed
       and Sold and doth by these Presents doth Grant Bargain
       Release and Confirm and Sell unto him the Said John Anderson
       his heirs and Assigns in his Actual Possession now being all that
       part of a Lot or Portion of Land Together with the Edifices and
       Improvements Contained within the following Courses Viz.t
       Beginning at a certain post standing in a certain Lot Lying
       in the City of Annapolis aforesaid Called Nicholsons Lot
       Adjoining to the ship Carpenters Lot and running from ^the^ said
       Post on Said Nicholsons Lot South thirty five degrees west
       Eighty One feet four Inches to another post standing ^in^ the Said
       Lot then running from this Second post to the outwards
       bounds of Said post Nicholsons Lot and the Sand bank
       above mentioned South East Seventy ^one^ feet to high Water
