191) Performed by the Act of Assembly intituled An Act for granting a Supply of forty thousand pounds for his Majesty's Service and Striking thirty four thousand and fifteen pounds Six Shillings thereof in Bills of Credit and raising a Fund for Sinking the Same and do well and faithfully pay to the Commissioners of the Loan Office for the Time being the Several sums of money which he shall receive and be Answerable for in Virtue of the Same Act at Such times as by the Said Act is Directed according to the true Intent and meaning thereof then the above Obligation to be Void and of no Effect otherwise to remain in full force and Virtue Jon.a Nicols Seal Signed sealed & Delivered W.m Hopper Seal in presence of W.m Hemsley Jn.o Jackson Seal Mathew Dockery 3 sides Recorded the 6.th December 1757 Ex.d This Indenture made the 26 Day of December in the year of our Lord 1757 Between Jn.o Maccubbin Son of Will.m of An Arundle County Planter of the one part & Benjamin Tasker & Benjamin Tasker Jun.r Exr.s of the late Sam.l Ogle Esq.r of the other part Witnesseth that the said Jn.o Maccubbin for & in Consideration of the sum of thirty five pounds nine Shillings Ster.l to him the said Jn.o Maccubbin before the Ensealing of these Presents ^payed^ passed by the said Benjamin Tasker whereof & wherewith the said John Maccubbin doth Acknowledge himself to be fully content & payed passed and thereof & from every part thereof doth Clearly Acquit Exonerate & Discharge the s.d Benjamin Tasker his Heirs Ex.rs & Adm.rs & every of them for ever by those presents (hath) |
