       On the Back side of the foregoing Indenture was thus endorsed Viz.t

       Receivd September the fourth 1756 of William Eversfield the Sum of Two hundred
       and twenty four Pounds fourteen shillings Sterling bing the full
       Consideration for the Land and Premisses within Mentioned

               Ja.s Nivison

       Maryland Charles County fs September the fourth 1756 Came
       Richard Lee Esq and Grace his wife before us two of his Lo^r^dships Justices
       for the said County and acknowledged all and singular the Estate Right
       Title Interest Property Claim and Demand of in and to the within
       mentioned part or Parcell of Land and Premisses with the
       appurtenances to be in the withing named William Eversfield his heirs & assigns
       for Ever and the said Grace being by us privately Examind out of the hearing of her
       said husband Did Declare ^that^ that he Relinquished her Dower Willingly & freely
       without being Induced thereto By fears or threats of or ill Usage of her
       said husband or for fear of his Displeasure Taken and Acknowledged
       before us the Day and year above Writtin

       1756 Sep.t Recd of W.m Eversfield four shillings three pence half
       peny for an alienation fine on the within two hundred & fourteen acres
       of Land by order of the Hon.ble Edw.d Loyd Esq Agent for the Right
       Honourable the Lord Propry of Maryland

       Maryland Charles County fs.t I hereby Certify that the above mentioned James Nivison and Robert
                            Yates Gentleman who signed the above acknowledgment was at the time of signing
                            The same and still are two of his Lordships the Right Hon.ble the Lo^r^d Propry Justices of
                            The peace for the County afs.d to whom full faith and Credit is and Ought to be Given as
                            well in Justice Court as thereout to all Deeds By them to Certifyed and ^to all^ Acknowledgments
                            ^by them so signed^ In testimony whereof I have hereunt set my hand and affixed the publick seal of the County ^afs.d^
                            This 4.th day of  Sep.t in the year of our Lord seventeen hundred and fifty six
