174) unto Philip Stephenson by the name of Stephensons Purchase Beginning at a marked oak upon a point & Running up a branch called Harwood to a turning Point East by South three hundred and Twenty Perches on the East by a Line Drawn from the turning ^Point^ up another branch running three hundred & twenty Perches to a marked oak on the North by a Line Drawn West and by North to the River and there to An Oak Lately marked and from the last named Oak by a Line Drawn Down the River to the first Marked Oak Containing and then laid out for Six hundred Acres and also one other Tract or parcel of Land Granted on the Twelfth Day of September in the year of our Lord Sixteen hundred Sixty and five unto Stephen Whetstone Called Whetstone lying in Talbot County aforesaid and in the Northern branch of Wye River on the back of the Land formerly Laid out for John Wright Merchant and adjoining to the Land of William Snaggs Southermost Bounded Tree an oak and Running from the Said Oak for breadth South fifty Perches by Wrights Line To a marked Pock hiccory Bounded on the South by a Line Drawn East from the Said Pock hiccory three hundred and Twenty Perches on the East by a line Drawn North from the end of the East line fifty Perches on the North by Snaggs line three hundred and twenty perches on the West by Wrights Land ^then^ thence from Eastermost Bound Tree by a Line Drawn South one hundred Perches to a marked Oak Bounded on the South by a Line drawn East (from) |
