159) Thereto by Fear or Threats or ill usage by her Said Husband or Fear of his Displeasure In Witness whereof we hereto Set or Hands the Day and year above Said David Lynn Andrew Heugh October the third One thousand Seven hundred and fifty Seven Then received of Philip Thomas Junior the Sum of four hundred and sixty four pounds Sterling being the Consideration of this Deed, Witness my Hand the Day and year aforesaid Witness David Lynn James Brooke Andrew Heugh Recorded Oct.r 27.th 1757 11 sides 1/2 Ex.d Maryland fs.t Know all men by these presents that I Thomas Lingan of Baltimore County am held and firmly bound unto James Maccubbin of Annapolis in the full and just Sum of Two hundred and Twelve pounds sterling money of great Britain to be paid to the Said James Maccubbin his certain Attorney Executors Administrators or assigns to the which payment well & Truly to be made and done & bind my Self my heirs Executors and Administrators for and in the whole firmly by these presents Sealed with my Seal and dated this twenty 29 day of October Anno Domini 1757 The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above bound Thomas Lingan do and Shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid to the said James Maccubbin his certain Attorney Executors Administrators or Assigns the just and full sum of One hundred and Six pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain at upon the 10.th day of Nov.r next Ensuing the Date hereof with Legal Interest for the same Then the above (Oblig.n) |
