       for Sinking the Same, and do well & faithfully pay to
       the Commissioners of the Loan Office, for the time being the
       Several Sums of Money which he Shall receive or be
       Answerable for in Virtue of the Same Act, at Such
       Times as by the said Act is directed, according to the
       Tru Intent and meaning thereof, then the above Obligation
       to be void and of no Effect otherwise to remain in full

                On the back of the aforegoing Bond was thus indorst Viz.t

       April 7.th 1757 George Dickson & Samuel Finley
       Witnesses to the within Bond made Oath on the Holy
       Evangels of Almighty God that they Saw the Obligors
       within mentioned Severally Seal and Deliver the Same
       as their Act and Deed for the Uses therein mentioned
      
                   Sworn before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships
       the Lord Proprietaries Justices of the Provincial
       Court of Maryland the Day and year aforesaid
                                                       John Darnall

Ex.d  This Indenture made this third day of
       October Seventeen hundred and fifty Seven between
       James Brooke of Frederick County in the Province
       of Maryland of the one part and Philip Thomas
       Junior of Ann Arundel County in the said Province
