       Parties to these Presents have hereunto Sett their hands and
       Seals the day and year first above Written
       Signed and Delivered
       in the Presence of us
       the words (of him the said Anthony) being
       first interlined                                                     his

                         On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus indorst Viz.t

       21.st Sep.r 1757      Then came before Me the subscriber one of his
       Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within mentioned
       Named Anthony Underwood and Acknowledged the Said
       Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the
       Land and Premisses therein specified to be the Right
       and estate of the within named Thomas Griffin his heirs
       and assigns according to the true intent and meaning
       thereof

Ex.d      This Indenture made this twenty ninth day of August
       in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and fifty
       Seven Between Richard Smith of Prince Georges County
       Gentleman and Elizabeth Smith the Wife of the said Richard
       Smith and Daughter of Henry Darnall of Ann Arundel County
       of the one part and Hancock Lee of Prince Georges County
       Gentleman of the other part Whereas Richard Bennett Esquire
       by his last Will and Testament in writing duly made devised
       unto the said Elizabeth Smith before her Marriage with
       the said Richard Smith by the name of Elizabeth Darnall
       and Eleanor Buchanan by the name of Elianor Darnall
       Daughters of Henry Darnall of Portland mannor all his Estate
       Right and Title of in and unto his two Tracts of Land
       Lying in Cecil County the one Called Hazlemore and
