Ex.d      This Indenture made the Twelfth day of September in the
       year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and fifty and seven
       Between Richard Smith and Philip Darnall junior and Hancock
       Lee                                       of the other part Witnesseth that the
       said Richard Smith and Philip Darnall jun.r for and in Consideration
       of the sum of five shillings sterling to them in hand paid by the said
       Hancock Lee at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents
       the Receit whereof is hereby acknowledged and the Said Richard Smith
       and Philip Darnall their Executors Administrators or assigns does
       thereof Acquit and Discharge Have granted bargained and Sold and by
       these Presents do grant bargain and sell unto him the Said Hancock
       Lee his Executors Administrators or assigns all those two Severall
       Tracts or Parcells of Land lying and being in Cecil County the one
       Called Hazlemore and the other called the Grove which said Tracts
       of Land By a Resurvey thereon whereby Richard Bennett Esq.r
       Deceased United and Consolidated into One Tract of Land called Bennetts
       Grove and by his the Said Richard Bennetts Last Will and
       Testament devised unto Eleanor Darnall and Elizabeth Darnall
       Daughters of Henry Darnall of Portland Mannor to them and
       the Heirs of their Bodys to be equally devided between them and
       the Revertion and Revertions Remainder and Remainders Rents
       Issues and Profits thereof and of every part and Parcel thereof
       To have and to hold the aforesaid Tracts or Parcells of
       Land and Premisses with the Appurtenances unto him
       the said Hancock Lee his Executors Administrators &
       Assigns from the Day next before the day of the Date
       of these Presents until the full End and Term of one whole
       fully to be Compleat and ended To the Intent and purpose
       that the said Hancock Lee may be in the Actual Possession
       of the hereby bargained and Sold Land and Premises with the
       appurtenances and may hereby and by force of the Statute for
       transferring uses into Possession and be enabled to take a Grant
