97) Dower whatsoever of in to or out of the afs.d several Tracts and Parcels of Land and Premisses with the Appurtenances To have and to hold the afs.d several Tracts of Land and Premisses with the Appurtenances unto him the said William Govane his Heirs and Assigns for Ever free and Clear and freely and Clearly Acquitted Exonerated and Discharged of and from the afs.d Clause Covenant Condition or Proviso and also of and from all Equity of Redemption under or by means of the same and also of and from all Dower and Right or Title of Dower whatsoever as fully and Effectually to all intents Constructions and purposes as if the said Recited Indenture of Mortgage had never been Subject thereto any thing in the said Recited Indenture of Mortgage Contained to the Contrary thereof in any wise Notwithstanding In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have ^hereunto^ Interchangeably set their Hands & Seals the day and Year first above written Signed Geo Atkinson Seal Sealed & Delivered Henry Morgan Seal in the Presence of Us W.m Govane Seal Jn.o Brice John Little At the foot of the aforegoing Deed was thus written Viz.t Reced the day and Year first afs.d of the within mentioned William Govane the Sum of Two hundred and fifty Pounds Sterling in full for the Consideration Money therein mentioned to be by him Paid to me Geo Atkinson Witness Jn.o Brice Peter Buchanan November the 24.th 1750 Then came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within named George Atkinson and acknowledged the within Assignment to be his Act and Deed and that the within Assigned Lands and Premisses were the Right and Estate of him the said William Govane according to the true Intent and meaning of the said Assignment Jn.o Brice Reced the day and Year first afs.d of the within mentioned William Govane the Sum of five Shillings Sterling in full for the Consideration Money therein mentioned to be by him Paid to me Henry Morgan Witness J Brice Nov.r 24.th 1750 Then Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within named Henry Morgan and acknowledged the within Release to be his Act and Deed and that the within Released Lands and Premisses were the Right and Estate of him the said William Govane according to the true intent and meaning of the said Release and also Sarah Morgan the Wife of him the said Henry Morgan who being also Examined by me a part out of the hearing of her said Husband did declare and acknowledge the within Released Lands and Premisses to be the Right and Estate of him the said William Govane his Heirs and Assigns according to the true Intent and meaning thereof and did further freely Declare that she did by this acknowledgment Release and did thereby intend to Release ^all^ her Right and Title of Dower to the within mentioned Released Lands and Premisses and that she made this acknowledgment of her own free Will and Consent without any Compulsion or Threats from her said Husband or fear of his Displeasure Jn.o Brice |
