94) Ex.d This Indenture made this Sixteenth Day of November One Thousand Seven hundred and fifty Between Unckle Unckles of Frederick County Planter on the one Part and Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis Chyrurgeon on the other Part Witnesseth that Whereas Caleb Dorsey of Ann Arundel County hath of Equal Date with these Presents Conveyed unto him the said Unckle Unckles all those four Tracts of Land Viz.t Benjamins Folly fifty Acres Harveys Borrough fifty Acres Sparks Round fifty Acres Sparks Chance fifty Acres all lying in Prince Georges County as Granted unto him the said Caleb Dorsey but now in Frederick County as by the Respective Patents of the said Trusts appear And Whereas further that a certain William Herl^e^y by his Deed of Bargain and Sale duly Executed and Recorded in the Records of the said Frederick County Conveyed unto him the said Unc^k^le Unckles Two Hundred and Nineteen Acres of Land being part of a Tract of Land called Cornwall Resurvey'd as by the said Deed bearing Date the first day of October One Thousand Seven hundred and fifty may appear Now this Indenture further Witnesseth That the said Unckle Unckles for and in Consideration of the Sum of forty four Pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain to him in hand Paid by him the said Charles Carroll the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge Hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed And by these Presents Doth Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe and Confirm unto him the said Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns for Ever all the afs.d four Tracts of Land called Benjamins Folly fifty Acres Harveys Borough fifty Acres Sparks's Round fifty Acres Sparks Chance fifty Acres Containing in all Two Hundred Acres of Land as by the Patents of them Respectively appear as also all that Two Hundred and Nineteen Acres part of Cornwall Resurveyed Conveyed unto him the said Unckles by the afs.d William Herley together with all the Buildings Improvements and Appurtenances on the said Several Tracts of Land being belonging or Appertaining To have and to hold unto him the said Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns for Ever the said four Tracts of Land called Benjamins Folley Fifty Acres Harveys Borough fifty Acres Sparks Chance fifty Acres Sparks Round fifty Acres Two hundred and Nineteen Acres part of Cornwall Resurveyed together with their and every of their Appurtenances and the said Unckle Unckles Doth Covenant and agree with him the said Charles Carroll that he the said Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns for Ever shall and may have hold Possess and Enjoy the said several Tracts of Land as well against him the said Unckle Unckles shall Pay or cause to be Paid unto him the said Charles Carroll his Executors or Adm.rs at or upon the sixteenth Day of November which shall be in the Year of our Lord God One Thousand Seven hundred and fifty one the afs.d Sum of forty four Pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain with the Lawfull Interest thereof Then this Deed of Bargain and Sale to become Void and of no Effect In Witness whereof and the foregoing Premisses the said Parties to these Presents have Interchangeably set their Hands and Affixed their Seals the Day and Year first above written Sealed and Delivered Unckle Unckles seal In Presence of Ann Peerman Jn.o Chalmers On the back of the aforegoing Mortgage was thus Endorsed Viz.t (Received) |
