                         Be it Remmembered that on the twenty fifth day of May
       in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and fifty six Before me
       the Subcriber one of the Justices of the Provincial Court of
       Maryland Personally Appeared John Caile and Rich.d Dorsey the
       subcribing Witnesses to the within bond and made Oath on the Holy
       Evangelists of Almighty God that they saw the within Named Cha.s
       Hammond Benjamin Tasker and Nicholas Maccubbin sign seal
       and as their Act and Deed Deliver the within Bond to and for the uses
       And Purpose therein Mentioned and on the second day of June Anno Domini
       Seventeen hundred and fifty six the within Named Charles Hammond Esquire
       Made Oath on the holy Evangelists of Almighty God in Manner following that
       Is to say I Charles Hammond do swear that I will according to the Best
       of my skill and Knowledge faithfully Impartially and truly Demean
       My self in the Discharge of the Furst Committed to me by an Act of the
       General Assembly of his Province Entituled an Act for Granting a
       Supply of Forty Thousand Pounds for his Majesty service and stacking
       Thirty four Thousand and fifteen Pounds six shillings thereof in Bills of
       Creditt and Raising a fund of sinking the same according to the
       Purpose and tenor of the same act so that none may be Prejudiced
       By my Consent Privity or Procurement so help me God
