       April 16.th 1756   Then came before me the subcriber one of his Lordships
       Justices of the Provincial Court Merriman Cox party to these presents
       and acknowledged the Within Deed of Bargain and Sale and the Land and
       Premisses therein Contained to be the Right and property of the Within
       Named Joseph Ensor his heirs and assigns forever

Exam.d                     Know all men by these presents that we Charles
                            Hammond and Benjamin Tasker Esquires and Nicholas Maccubbin
                            Gentleman all of ann Arundell County are held and
                            firmly bound unto the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary
                            of the said province is the full and just sum of Two
                            thousand pounds sterling money to be paid unto the said
                            Lord Proprietary his heirs and Successors to Which payment
                            well and truly to be made and done We bind ourselves and
                            Each of us our and every of our heirs Executors & Administrators
                            Jointly and Severally for the Whole and in the
                            whole firmly by these presents sealed with our Seals
                            and dated this Twenty fifth day of May Anno Dom
                            1756

          The Condition of the Above Obligation is such that if the said Charles
       Hammond as one of the Commissioners of the Loan Office shall well and
       truly Execute the several powers and Authoritys by him to be done
       and performed According to the true intent and Meaning of an Act of
       Assembly Entituled an act for granting a supply of Forty thousand
