694 This Indenture made the sixteenth day of April one thousand Exam.d Seven hundred and fifty six Between Merryman Cox of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland of the one part and Joseph Ensor of the same County and Province Gent of the other part Witnesseth that the said Merryman Cox for and in consideration of the sum of Thirty pound Current Money to him in hand paid before the Ensealing and delivery of these presents by the said Joseph Ensor the Receipt whereof the said Merryman Cox does hereby Acknowledge and thereof and therefrom and of ever part and parcel thereof does Clearly and Absolutely Acquitt Exonerate and for ever Discharge him the said Joseph Ensor his Heirs Executors and administrators by these presents hath given Bargained sold aliend Enfeofed and Confirmed and doth by these presents; Give grant Bargain sell Alien Enfeof and Confirm unto him unto him the said Joseph Ensor his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns sixty Acres of Land being part of one hundred Acres of Land Willed unto him out of a Certain Tract of Land called East Humphrys by Charles Merryman Deced as further will appear by his last Will and Testament recorded in the Prerogative Office togeather with all the rights appurtenances members and preveledges thereto belonging or any ways appertaining be the same of What Nature and Quality soever To have and to hold all and Singular the hereby Bargained Land and Premisses With Every part and parcell thereof upon ^unto^ him the said Joseph Ensor his heirs Executors Admers and Assigns for Ever more and to no other use intent and purposes Whatsoever and him the said Merryman Cox for himself his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs and Assignes Does further Covenant Promise Grant and Agree to and with the said Joseph Ensor his heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs and Assignes by these presents that he the said Merryman Cox his Heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs the hereby Bargained Land and premisses With every part and Parcell thereof unto him the said Joseph Ensor his heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs And Assignes against all manner of person or persons whatsoever Claiming by from or under him or by from ^or^ under him or any of the ^his^ heirs Ex.rs and Administrators Laying any Claim right or title thereto shall and will for ever warrent and Defend by these presents the Rents and sirvices hereafter to be Come due and payable to the Chief Lord or Lords to the Fee or fees always Excepted and foreprised and him the said Merryman Cox for himself His Heirs Executors and Adm.rs does further Covenant Grant and Agree to and with The said Joseph Ensor his heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs and Assignes that he the said Merryman Cox shall and will from time to time and at all times for ever hereafter at the request And at the proper Charge of him the said Joseph Ensor his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs and assigns make do and suffer to be made and done and suffered all and every such further and Other Act or Acts Thing or things Device and Devices assurance or assurances whatsoever requisite in the Law for the for the better assurance and more sure making of the hereby bargained Land and premisses with every part and parcel thereof unto him the said Joseph Ensor his Heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs as shall or may be by him the |
