          This Indenture Tripartite made the Second day of May
Exam.d in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and fifty six
       between Charles Homewood of Ann Arundell County Gentleman son
       and heir at Law of Thomas Homewood late of Ann Arundell County
       Gentleman now Deceased of the first part and Charles Hammond of
       Ann Arundell County of the Second part and Edward Dorsey of Annapolis
       of Ann Arundel County of the third part Witnesseth that the said
       Charles Homewood for and in Consideration of the sum of five shillings
       of Lawfull Money of England to him in hand paid by the said
       Charles Hammond at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these
       Presents the Receipt Whereof is hereby acknowledged hath given Granted
       Released and Confirmed and by these presents Doth Give Grant Release
       and Confirm unto the said Charles Hammond all that Tract or parcel of
       Land Called Homewoods Lott lying and being in Ann Arundell County
       Containing thirteen hundred and Ninety two acres more or less and
       also all that Tract or parcell of Land lying and being in the County
       afs.d Called Alcots Tryangle Containing seventy acres more or less &
       also all that tract or parcel of Land lying and being in the County
       afs.d Called Hog Neck Alias Davis's Lott Containing seventy acres
       More or less and also all that Tract or parcell of Land lying and
       being in the County aforesaid Called Bennetts Park Containing
       Eighty one acres more or less and also all that Tract or parcell of
       Land lying and being in the County County afs.d Called Pytheistone
       Containing sixty acres More or less late in the Tenure and Occupation
       of the said Charles Homewood but now in the actual possession
       of the said Charles Hammond by force of an Indenture of Bargain
       and sale thereof made bearing date the day before the date of these
       presents and of the statute for transferring of uses into Possession
       being To have and to hold all and singular the several Tracts or
       parcells of Land and all and every the Premisses with the appurtenances
       hereby Given Granted Released and Confirmed or mentioned or
       intended to be hereby given granted Released and Confirmed unto the
       said Charles Hammond and his Assigns for and during the
       the Natural Life of the said Charles Hammond to the intent &
       purposes that the said Charles Hammond shall and may be perfect
       Tenant of the Freehold of all the said Lands and Premisses
