       John Brice his Heirs and assigns that he the said John Martin his Heirs
       Executors and adm.rs the aforesaid sum of seventy one pounds Eight shillings
       and Eight pence with legal Interest thereon at or upon the tenth
       day of May which shall be in the year of our Lord seventeen hundred &
       fifty Eight shall and will well and truly pay and satisfie in Witness
       Whereof the said John Martin hath hereunto set his hand and affixed
       his seal the day and year first above written
       signed sealed and Delivered
       in the presence of                                 John Martin   seal

                   Benj Beall
                           On the back of the foregoing Deed was thus Endorced Viz.t

           Be it Remembered that on the 20.th day of May in the year of our Lord
       seventeen hundred and fifty six the within named John Martin rece'd of the
       within named John Brice the full and Just Sum of Seventy one pounds Curry
       Eight shillings & Eight pence Sterling money being the Consideration
       within mentioned

          R Tilghman   Benj Beall

       On the twentieth day of may in the year of our Lord seventeen hundred and fifty
       six before me the Subcriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices person^a^lly
       appeared the within named John Martin who Acknowledged the within
       Indenture to be his Act and deed and the Land and Premisses therein Mentioned
       to be the Right and Estate of the within named John Brice his Heirs
       and assigns for ever according to the true intent & meaning of the same
       Deed and the act of assembly in such case made and Provided
             Acknowledged the day and year                                       R Tilghman
             above mentioned before

Exam.d   This Indenture made the first day of May in the year of
       our Lord One thousand seven hundred and fifty six between Edward
       Dorsey of Annapolis Gentleman of the one part and Archibald Offutt
       of Frederick County Planter of the other part Witnesseth that it
       is Covenanted Concluded and Agreed between the parties to these presents
       that it shall and may be Lawfull for the said Edward Dorsey
       before the first day of the next Provincial ^Court^ to Prosecute out of the High
                                                                                                                Court
