       in his their or any of their hands Custodys or possession due owing
       payable or belonging to us the said Constituants whether by Bond
       Note Bill Book Debt Account Consignment or otherwise howsoever
       nothing Excepted or Reversed and for the purposes afs.d to Account
       and to View ^state^ settle and adjust all Accounts and the Ballance or
       Ballances thereof to receive upon Receipts to give one or more
       Acquittances or other sufficient discharges in due form of Law
       but in Case of Refusal or delay by any person or persons whome
       it doth or may Concern to make and Render just and True Account
       payment and Satisfaction in the Premises him them & every of
       them thereunto to Compell and for that purpose in the names of us
       the Constituants to Commence one or more suit or suits at Law or in
       Equity and the same to prosecute to a final determination also if need be
       to Compound Compromise Conclude and Agree by Arbitration or otherwise
       and Generally in the Premises to do perform Transact and Accomplish
       all and whatsoever shall be Requesite and Necessary as fully &
       Effectually to all intents and purposes as we the said Constituants
       might or Could do being personally present with Power to our said
       attorney to substitute one or more person or persons to act under him
       and the same at pleasure to revoke & we the said Constitutants do
       hereby promise to Ratefye confirm and hold for good and valid all
       & and whatsoever our said Attorney or his substitutes shall
       Lawfully do or cause to be done in the Premises by virtue of
       these Presents In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands
       and seals the Tenth day of May one Thousand Seven & fifty five

       On the 2.d Day of May 1756 M.r John Binge Jun.r made oath on

       Mercht.s in London & Acknowledged Capt Alexander Stewart their Attorney
       in fact according to the Intent and meaning of the above Instrument
       of writing
