680 Lancelot Jacques or his heirs should and would within fourteen Days from the day of the date thereof by good and sufficient Lease and Release to be by the said Lancellot Jacques or his Heirs Acknowledged that the same might for preservation be Recorded well and truly for the like Consideration therein before mentioned & at the Cost and Charges of him the said Benedict Calvert his Heirs or assigns convey assure and make over unto the said Benedict Calvert his Heirs and assigns to his & their only proper use and Behoof for ever the therein mentioned Messuage Buildings Lands Lotts Tenements Hereditaments and Premises thereby Released and Confirmed or meant mentioned or intended so to be with their and every of their appurtenances in such manner and by such apt words and Discriptions as by the said Benedict Calvert his heirs or assigns or his or their Council Learned in the Law should be reasonably devised or advised and required To which purpose there is in the said Lease also contained a Covenant from him the said Lancelot Jacques to him the said Benedict Calvert his Heirs and assigns as by the said Indenture of Lease and Release relation being thereunto had may more fully appear Now this Indenture witnesseth that the said lancelot Jacques for the Execution of the Trust and Performance of the Covenant in the said Recited Indenture expressed and contained Hath (for and in Consideration of the sum of ten shillings current money of the said Province to him in hand paid by the said Benedict Calvert at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged) aliened (remised released enfeoffed & confirmed and by these presents doth Alien remise release Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Benedict Calvert) in his Actual possession now being by virtue of a Bargain and sale to him thereof made by the said Lancellot Jacques Bearing Date the Day next Before the Day of the Date ^of these presents for one whole year Commencing from the day next before the day of the date^ thereof and by force of the statute for Transferring Uses into Possession) his Heirs and Assigns all that Capital Messuage or Tenement and Two Lotts of Land whereof or on part whereof the aforesaid Messuage or Tenement now stands and now in |
