       Claim by from or under him, or under John Grenis the Grandfather
       of the said John Grenis Howard, shall and will Warrant and
       for ever Defend by these presents In Witness whereof the parties
       to these presents have hereunto Interchangeably set their hands
       and seals the day and year first above Written
       sealed and Delivered

                       on the back of the foregoing Deed was thus Endorced Viz.t
      
            October 16.th 1755  Received of Laurance Hammond the sum of one hundred
       and Twenty five pounds sterling being the Consideration money within
       Mentioned

                                        Came before us the subscribers Two of his Lordships Justices
       of the peace for Baltimore County the within named John Grines Howard
       and Acknowledged the with Deed as his Act and Deed and the Land & Premisses
       within mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within Named
       Laurance Hammond and his heirs According to the true intent and
       Meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in that Case
       made and provided
                Acknowledged before us this Day and year aforesaid

       On this sixteenth Day of October One thousand seven hundred and
       fifty five Came Elizabeth Howard wife of the within named John Griness
       Howard before us two Justices of the Peace for Baltimore County who
       being privately Examined as the Law Directs wheather she Doth
       acknowledge her Right of Dower to the within mentioned Land and
       Premisses to be the Right of the within named Laurence Hammond
       his heirs and assigns for ever, Declared her Right of Dower to the
       within mentioned Land and Premisses to be Right of the within named
       Laurence Hammond his heirs and assigns for ever & acknowledged
