          On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t

          Maryland fs.t
                                May 14.th 1754  Came the above named John Cole one of the
       subscribing witnesses to the within and above writing and made Oath
       before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial
       Court of Maryland that he saw the above Daniel Cheston sign ^Seal^ and
       as his Act and Deed deliver the above and within writting as his Act
       and Deed for the uses and purposes therein Mentioned and that he
       the said John Cole at the same Time signed as a witness thereto and
       saw the above Jonathan Tallamy also sign as a witness thereto
       sworn to before me

       Received May 14.th 1754 of the within Benjamin Tasker Junior
       the within seventy Tones of Pigg Iron in full Consideration for the within
       Lands & Tenements for the use of the within Daniel Cheston and
       as his Attorney in Fact

Exam.d         This Indenture ^made^ the sixteenth day of October in the year
       of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & fifty five Between John Griness
       Howard of Baltimore County planter of the one part & Laurence
       Hammond of Ann Arundell County Planter of the other part Witnesseth
       that the said John Grines Howard for and in Consideration of the
       sum of One hundred and Twenty five pounds Sterling money of Great
       Britain to him in hand paid by the said Laurance Hammond
       before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof
       he doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof and of every part and parcell
       thereof doth fully Clearly and Absolutely acquit exonerate and Discharge
       the said Laurance Hammond his Ex.rs and Adm.rs by these presents &
       for divers other good Causes and Considerations him him thereunto moveing
       he the said John Grines Howard hath granted bargained sold Aliened Enfeoffed
       and Confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien
