661) Ridgely Great Grand father of the ^said^ Greenberry Ridgely or the said Greenberry Ridgely and his heirs shall and will from time to time and at all times at and upon the Reasonable Request and Proper Costs & Charges in Law of the said Benjamin Tasker and Benjamin Tasker junior their Heirs and Assigns do make levy Execute Acknowledge & suffer all and every such further and other reasonable Act or Acts thing and things assurance and assurances Conveyance or Conveyances for the better assuring the said Land and Premisses unto the said Benjamin Tasker and Benjamin Tasker junior their heirs and assigns for the use aforesaid as by the said Benjamin Tasker and Benjamin Tasker junior their Heirs and Assigns or their Council Learned in the Law shall be reasonably devised advised or required In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto Interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above written signed ^Sealed^ & Delivered in the Presence Greenberry Ridgely seal Cha Goldsborough Geo Steuart On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorced Viz.t Received March the 11.th 1756 of Benjamin Tasker and Benjamin Tasker junior Esq.rs within mentioned the sum of Forty pounds sterling being the Consideration money within mentioned Witness Green Ridgely Geo Steuart Green Ridgely Came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court Greenberry Ridgely and Acknowledged the within Instrument as his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses within mentioned to be the Estate of the within Named Benjamin Ogle and his heirs and at the same time Came Lucy the wife of the said Greenberry Ridgely who being privately by me Examined and out of the hearing of her said husband relinquished her Right of Dower to the within mentioned Land and Premisses & Declared that she did the same Willingly and freely and that she was was not compelled thereto by fear or threats of her said Husband or fear of his Displeasure Acknoledged before me this Eleventh day of March 1756 Geo Steuart April the 10.th 1756 Rece.d ^of^ Benj.n Tasker and Benj.n Tasker junior Esq.rs Guardians to Benjamin Ogle six shillings and Eight pence half penny Sterling for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine on the within mentioned Lands) by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & Receiver General Rich.d Dorsey 9 sides Recorded April 10.th 1756 |
