656) This Indenture made the Fourteenth day of February Exam.d in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty six Between Mary Ridgely Widow and Executrix of the Testament and Last will of Nicholas Ridgely late of Kent County upon Delaware Deceased and Charles Greenberry Ridgely Executor of the said Testament and last Will of the one part And Benjamin Tasker and Benjamin Tasker junior of Ann Arundell County in the Province of Maryland Esq.rs Guardians of Benjamin Ogle an Infant under the age of Twenty one years of the other part Whereas the said Nicholas Ridgely in his lifetime and at the time of his death was seized in his Demeyne as of Fee of an in one third Part of all that Tract of Land Called Larkins's Forrest Scituate Lying and being in Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland and on the West side of Patuxent River upon the Head of a Branch called Collington Branch containing four hundred Acres of Land and also one third Part of all that Tract of Land Called Addition Lying and being in Prince Georges County afs.d Containing one hundred Acres of Land Which said Last mentioned Tract of Land Was granted by Patent Bearing date the first day of November one thousand seven hundred and one to a Certain Henry Ridgely now Deceased as by the said Patent Reference thereto being had may more fully and at Large appear and so thereof being Seized did make his Testament and Last will in writing duly Executed bearing date the fifteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty five and after Devising of his Estate in manner as is therein Devised, did appoint and Constitute the said Mary Ridgely Executrix and the said Charles Greenberry Ridgely Executor of his said will; and by a Codicil to his said will in writing also duly executed bearing date the same fifteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & fifty five did Impower his said Executrix and Executor or either of them to sell make over and convey a Tract of Land Lying in the County of Prince Georges in the Province of Maryland for the Best Price they could Procure for the same and the money ariseing on such sale the said Nicholas did give and bequeath to his wife the said Mary and his three Children Charles, Sarah, and Elizabeth, Each alike share; as by the said will & |
