       in hand paid have Demised Granted Bargained and sold unto him
       the said Luke Griffith his heirs Executors Administrators or assigns
       forever all and singular our Right Title and Interest Claim or demand
       of and to all and singular over and either of our RIght and Title of and to
       all the Lands in Baltimore County and in Ann Arundle County whatsoever
       Which right and title fell to us by the Last Will and Testament of Rich.d
       Leaf of Calvert County and that he the said Luke Griffith hath by these
       Presents good power to enter on all or as many of our Lands as he can find
       in the said County's paying al arrearages of Rents thereof and for ever
       to Possess them without any molestation or Interuption of us or our
       Heirs Executors or administrators in Testimony whereof we have hereunto
       set our hands and Fixt our seals the Day and year above Written

          On the Back of the foregoing Deed was thus Endorc'd

                         Memorandum March 5.th 1756

                         Then came William Hitchinson and Rachel his wife part to the
       within Deed before the subscriber one of the Justices of the Prov.l Court of
       Maryland and acknowledged the within Lot be the Right of the
       within named Luke Griffith and his heirs for ever and Desired that the
       same may be put on the Record therefore taken Before

                                        This Indenture made this Twenty
       sixth day of February seventeen hundred and fifty ^six^ between Richard
       Pool of Baltimore County in the Province aforesaid Planter of the
       one part and Joseph Howard of Ann Arundel County in the same
       Province Planter of the other part Witnesseth that the said Richard
       Poole for and in consideration of the sum of ten pounds Current money
       to him paid the receit whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and himself therewith
