       Maryland                       To all Christian People To whom these Presents
       Ann arundell County fs   shall come We John Hammond son of Thomas John Hammond of
       the County aforesaid and Anne his Wife send Greeting Know Ye that the said John
       Hammond and Anne his Wife as well for and in Consideration of the Natural
       Affection and Brotherly Love which we have unto our well beloved Brother in Law
       Henry Gaither of Frederick County Planter and for and in Consideration of the Sum of
       Five Shillings as also for divers good Causes and Considerations us thereunto moving
       Have Given and Granted and by these Presents Do Freely Give and Grant unto the
       said Henry Gaither his Heirs and Assigns All that Parcell of Land lying in Frederick
       County aforesaid near little Pihip Creek and Lingenook Beginning at a bounded Red
       Oak standing one Hundred and Eight Perches of a Line South ten degrees West being the
       Fourth line of the said land called Strife and Running thence South Ten degrees West
       Forty Perches then South sixty West eighteen Perches then South Forty six Perches
       then South sixty degrees West sixty Perches then South Thirty degrees East thirty two
       Perches then South Twenty degrees West fourty Perches then south sixty Degrees West
       fourty Perches then South ninteen degrees West fourty four Perches then South Ten
       degrees East seventy two Perches then a Cross the said Tract of Land called Hammonds
       Strife North sixty seven degrees East one Hundred and Twenty Perches then North
       thirty degrees West thirty two Perches then West Twenty Perches then South Twenty
       Perches then South sixty nine degrees West fourty Perches then North fourty
       Perches then North thirty degrees East one hundred Perches then North seventy
       one degrees East thirty two Perches then South thirty degrees East forty six
       Perches then North sixty degrees East forty six Perches then North fourteen
       degrees East one hundred and thirty Perches North sixty nine degrees East
       forty Perches then North twenty five degrees West forty four Perches then by a
       a Straight line to the Beginning Now laid out and Containing Two hundred Acres
       To have and to hold all and singular the said Premisses with the Appurtenances unto
       the said Henry Gaither his heirs and Assigns for Ever and all the Estate Right Title
       Interest Property Claim and Demand (of and in the said Premisses) of us the said
       John Hammond and Anne his Wife our Heirs Executors Administrators and
       Assigns In Witness whereof we the said John Hammond and Anne his Wife
       have hereunto Interchangeably set our hands and seals this 12.th of November
       in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty five
