       On the back of the foregoing Deed were the following Indorsements Viz.t
      
       Maryland June 4.th 1755  Then Came the within named Gideon Garey
       before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial
       Court and Acknowledged the within Deed to be his Act & Deed for the use
       of the ^within named^ said Benjamin Tasker the younger according to the form of the
       Act of Assembly in that Case made and Provided acknowledged before
       me the day and year aforesaid

       Also on the 11.th day of October 1755 Jane Garey wife of the above named Gideon
       Garey Released her Right of Dower to the within Land and acknowledged
       that she did the same willingly and freely without being Induced thereto
       by fears or threats of ill usage of her said Husband or fear of his displeasure
       Jn.o Brice

       Received of Coll Benjamin Tasker three Shillings Sterling for his Lordships
       use (it being the alienation fine on the within mentioned Lands) by
       Virtue of a Commission from Edw.d Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent
       and Receiver General
                                                                                     Rich.d Dorsey

       Received fifty pounds sterling being the Consideration money within
       mentioned

Ex.d Know all Men by these Presents that I John Hunt of Leadenhall Street
       of London Merchant for divers good Causes and Considerations me hereunto
       moving have made ordained constituted and appointed and by these Presents
       do make Ordain Constitute and Appoint my Trusty friend William Cox
       of the Province of Maryland in North America Merchant my true and
       Lawful Attorney Revocable for me in my Name or in his own Name but to my
       use to Ask Claim Demand sue for Recover and Receive of and from all and
       every Person or Persons whomsoever in Maryland in North America
       aforesaid all such Sum and Sums of Money Debt or Debts Goods Wares
       Merchandizes Estate and Effects whatsoever which now is or hereafter
       may be due owing Payable or belonging unto me in any manner
       howsoever And to call to an account and bring to Reckoning and to
