             This Indenture made this Twenty first day of July
       in the Year of Our Lord God one Thousand Seven hundred and fifty five
       between Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis on the one part and
       Henry Cassles of Frederick County Millwright on the other part
       Witnesseth that the said Henry Cassles for and in Consideration of
       the Sum of Twenty eight pounds Current Money of Maryland
       to him paid before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents
       by him the said Charles Carroll Merchant hath Given Granted
       Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by
       these Presents doth absolutely Give Grant Bargain Sell
       Allien Enfeoff and Confirm unto him the said Charles Carroll
       his heirs and assigns for Ever all these Two Tracts or parcells
       of Land that is to say Mill Lott Containing Fifty Acres
       on Pipe Creek conveyed to the said Cassle by John White
       as also all that Tract called Clear Meadow containing
       Ninetyone Acres of Land Lying in Frederick County the
       lath Conveyed to said Cassle by Michael Tents togather
       with all and Singular the Mills Houses Orchards Meadows
       and Other Improvements and Appurtenances whatsoever
       on the said Tract of Land being belonging or
       appurtaining To have and to hold unto him the said Charles
       Carroll his heirs and assigns for Ever the Said Two Tracts of
       Land called Mill Lott and Clear Meadow with their Appurtenances
       and the Said Henry Cassle doth Covenant and
       Agree with him the Said Charles that he the Said Charles
       his Heirs and assigns for Ever Shall and may peaceably have
       hold and enjoy the Said Tracts of Land with their appurtenances
       as well against him the Said Henry as against all
       Manner of Persons and Claims whatsoever Provided always
       that in Case he the said Henry Cassels Shall and do pay
       unto him the Said Charles Carroll or his heirs Exe.rs or Adm.rs
       at or before the twenty first Day of July which Shall be in
       the Year of Our Lord God one Thousand Seven hundred fifty
       and Seven the Sum of Twenty eight pounds Current Money of
       Maryland with the legal Interest thereof then this Indenture
       to become void in Witness whereof and the aforegoing Premisses
       the said Partys to these presents have Interchangably Set
       their hands and seals the Day and Year first above Written
