       At the foot of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed (Viz.t)
       June 26.th 1755  Then Came the above Named Thomas Brooke before
       me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court
       of Maryland and Acknowledged the above Deed to be his Act and Deed
       and the Land and premisses therein Mentioned to be the right of
       the above Mentioned Eleanor Carroll her heirs and assigns according to
       the true Intent and Meaning of the said Deed and the Act of Assembly
       in Such Cases made and provided

Exam.d      This Indenture made this Nineteenth Day of July
       Anno Domini One thousand Seven hundred and fifty five
       Between Abraham Wood of Notingham in Prince Georges County
       of the one part and John Brightwell and Isaac Wood of Prince
       Georges County aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the
       Said Abraham Wood for and in Consideration of the Sum of one
       hundred and fifty pounds Sterling Money to him in hand paid
       by the Said John Brightwell and Isaac Wood the Receipt
       whereof he the Said Abraham Wood doth hereby acknowledge
       and himself to be therewith fully Contented and paid   Hath
       Given Granted Alliened Bargained Sold Enfeoffed and
       Confirmed and by these presents doth Give Grant Allien Bargain
       Sell Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said John Brightwell
       and Isaac Wood Jointly and Severally all Right Title and
       claim which he now have or May hereafter anyways pretend
       to a Tract of Land called Woods Farm Containing P Patent
       Three hundred and forty five Acres and lying in the af.d County
       as by the Patent More fully doth appear together with all the
       Houses Buildings and Improvements thereunto belonging
       or in anywise Appertaining   To have and to hold the af.d
       Tract of Land and premisses together with all the Buildings
       and Improvements thereon unto the said John Brightwell
       and Isaac Wood Jointly as aforesaid their heirs and assigns
       for Ever together with all Rights Benefits & Priveledges thereunto
       belonging or in anywise appertaining and the said
